Unit leaked and damaged cabinets and wall behind unit. I uninstalled unit and saw that the leak is from serious shipping damage to rear left top and rear left base of outer tub. At the shipping damage someone has used silicone to try and fix the leak before customer was sold unit. Entitlement shows unit was sold to Costco but customer purchased unit from Rojas Appliances. I called whirlpool trade partners file Sr#7732929666. Whirlpool is not covering repair due to unit being sold with obvious pre existing damage that damaged customers home and customers receipt saying Final sale. Customer to return to store that sold unit.

"Customer states that every once in a while there is a load that is not fully extracted. When this happens they put the unit in a drain spin and it finishes. I ran a service test, found NO faults, ran a spin ,fill and drain cycle at the same time to try and see if the motor or drain was failing. All functions check ok. Called WPTS(7732933571) who said it sounds like a random loading issue since there are no fault codes. If the washer detects an unbalanced load it may decide to abbreviate the spin or even not spin at all. WPTS said if they have questions about loading or usage they can call customer support."

"F9e1. Cleared error code, ran diagnostics, units ops checked fine, unit draining properly, but replaced drain pump as a precautionary measure. Per service pointer, units heating element needs to be replaced. Both heater bushings were still in good condition. Ran diagnostics, all units ops checked fine. Ran a Normal cycle, no leaks present. Customer is concerned about the unit prompting the F9e1 error, thinks it is a control board issue. Advised the customer the unit is working as designed at the moment, unable to replace the control board just out of suspension of it not working properly."
